Eugeni de Diego (Terrassa, 1984) is one of the most prolific chefs and restaurateurs in the elBulli saga. He worked between 2005 and 2011 at the Cala Montjoi restaurant and launched elBulli Lab in Barcelona together with Ferran Adrià. This entrepreneurial chef has written books, advised restaurateurs... But he had always had in mind opening his own projects - even in that first time as a chef, working in the kitchens of the legendary Ca l' Isidre. First there was Apluma, a successful chain of themed restaurants dedicated to roast chicken, followed by Tamae, the Italian Lombo, Colmado Wilmot, and now, Pintarroja, a casual seafood restaurant located in a small town in Menorca.
